New Compact Mobile Combiner Units

For the NEW extended TETRA band

he new Extended TETRA band - low 380-386,5 MHz/High 390-396,5 MHz - is now released by authorities in for instance Germany, Belgium, and Holland.
The extension of the band is a result of an increasing request for more TETRA channels working at the same time. Especially in the bigger cities.

Amphenol Procom is proud to announce 2 new high performance ETSI compliant 2 port/channel PRO-MCU380-EXT  and PRO-MCU380-EXT-2-REV units for the extended Public Safety and Mission Critical TETRA market.

Application usage

When working with Public Safety reliably communication is key. The network infrastructure must have dependably RF equipment for the workers to communicate 100% efficiently in emergency situations.

The new PRO-MCU380 series is a perfect product to assist operations whether it is for Law Enforcements, Fire brigades, Emergency Medical Services etc.

The PRO-MCU380 series all have high isolation and low insertion loss due to the use of carefully chosen quality system components as isolators, circulators, and helical duplex filters.
The isolation between all ports Tx/Tx, Tx/Rx & Rx/Rx are rated to be better than 60 dB. The maximum input power is as high as 25 W per port.
 

3 & 4 port versions is coming

In the spring of 2022, we will also release a 3 and 4 port version of the PRO-MCU380-EXT and PRO-MCU380-EXT-REV to extend our TETRA product line further.

The PRO-MCU380-EXT-2 is commonly used for Mobile Control Centers TX low 380-386,5 MHz/RX high 390-396,5 MHz, and thePRO-MCU380-EXT-2-REV is used opposite to combine TETRA Base Stations where RX is low band and TX is high band.

The 2 products have an extremely small and compact design, which are very beneficial in command centers, mobile centers, or other control rooms.
